A great way to get kids (and adults) to eat their carrots!
- 2 lbs carrots, baby carrots work great
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄3 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- black pepper, to taste
- In a large saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil.
- Lower heat to a simmer and cover.
- Cook until liquid is reduced to a glaze and carrots are tender, about 10 minutes.
