  • Wash the green beans, remove ends. Add beans to a pot of boiling water, cook for 4 minutes and strain. Set aside to cool. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a skillet on medium heat. Add garlic, onion, salt, and pepper and fry for 5 minutes or until onion is translucent. Toss onion mixture with green beans in a bowl and serve.
