This is delicious warm with butter. My family eats as an in between snack or breakfast dessert :)

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and apples.
  2. Sift dry ingredients together.
  3. Mix with sugar mixture; add pecans.
  4. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla.
  5. Pour into greased 10x6x3 inch loaf pan.
  6. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over top.
  7. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
