A French toast variation with egg whites and a bit of sweetness

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 egg whites
  • 12 cup skim milk
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • oil (for frying)


  1. Beat the egg whites with the milk and sugar.
  2. Heat a frying pan and grease lightly with oil.
  3. dip both sides of the toasts in batter and fry on both sides.
  4. serve with maple syrup or banana.
