A tangy salad.
- 1⁄2 cup sweet onion
- 1⁄2 lb bacon, fried &,crumbled
- 1⁄2 cup pecans, toasted
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 bunches broccoli, tops &,crowns
- Mix dressing ingredients& toss with with remaining ingredients.
Even broccoli haters loved this. This was an excellent raw broccoli salad! I don't like the extra stuff other recipes include like cheese and sunflower seeds so this was perfect. I used Splenda instead of sugar and used 3/4 lb of bacon instead of 1/2 lb. I just made it for the 2nd time this week. It's going to be a regular in our house from now on. :)
