Fast Fudge

"FUdge keeps for 2 weeks at room temp, so it is great to keep around, for those sweey cravings. For this recipe, you can turn it into Mocha Fudge, by adding 1 tablespoon instant coffee with the salt."

ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 2⁄3 cup evaporated skim milk
• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 12 large marshmallows
• salt (a few grains)
• 1 (6 ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

directions

1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, stirring gently, boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. remove from heat.
2. Add chocolate morsels to marshmallow mixture, stirring until melted. Add pecans and vanilla, stirring well. Spread evenly in a buttere 8 inch square pan. Cool and cut into squares.
