Farmer Cookies

"This is an old-fashioned cookie recipe I used a lot while working in a kitchen over the summer. Not overly sweet and the Cornflakes offer a unique crunchiness."

ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups flour
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 2 cups corn flakes
• 2 cups oatmeal
• 1 cup walnuts (optional)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

directions

1. Cream butter and sugars til light and fluffy.
2. Add eggs and vanilla.
3. Add flour, salt, and baking powder until combined.
4. Mix in oatmeal, corn flakes and walnuts.
