I saw a Paula Dean Goulash recipe going around on Facebook. My mom used to make "Beefy Macaroni" when I was a kid. I took the best of both recipes and came up with the best Goulash/Beefy Macaroni I have ever had. I like to make a big pot of this and freeze for a quick dinner during the week. If you do not add the macaroni, this recipe will make 2 quarts and freezes well. Just make 1/2 a box of macaroni for each quart. It is even better when it is reheated. Enjoy!

  3. Once meat is thoroughly cooked, add soy sauce, stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Simmer for 20-25 minutes. Cook down to reduce some of the liquid.
  4. Boil macaroni according to package directions, drain very well.

  6. Top with cheese and serve.
