Easy Pumpkin Cookies

"These are so moist and easy....my grandma's recipe."

• Ingredients: 10
• Yields: 24-30 cookies

ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 cups canned pumpkin
• 1⁄2 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 (8 ounce) bag chocolate chips

directions

1. Cream pumpkin and shortning.
2. Add sugar and cream.
3. Add rest of ingredients, adding chocolate chips last.
4. Drop by small spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

I added a cup of chopped walnuts just to give it a little crunch they are great without but even better with.
