Simple one from a McCormick's recipe card. Just mix some spices in plain bread crumbs and panfry.
- 453.59 g fish fillet
- 118.29 ml plain breadcrumbs
- 2.46 ml paprika
- 3.69 ml season salt
- 4.92 ml onion powder
- 14.79 ml butter
- 14.79 ml oil
- Mix the bread crumbs and spices together.
- Coat the fish in the crumb mixture.
- Panfry the fish in the butter/oil blend unil well browned.
One of my favourite ways to prepare a fresh fillet of fish. I do not add the onion powder as the seasoning salt I have is quite flavourful. I love the simplicity of this method of cooking cod, salmon, haddock and tilapia fillets. I usually squeeze some fresh lemon juice and grind black pepper over the fish when cooked. Yummy!
