  • Bring the milk to boil.
  • Mix some cold milk with the custard powder and add to the boiling milk, stirring constantly.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and cook for a further 5 mins over a slow flame. Serve hot or chilled over crisp toasted bread slices.
