- 1814.36 g chuck roast
- 14.79 ml olive oil
- 340.19 g can beer
- 236.59 ml beef broth
- 118.29 ml onion flakes
- 4 garlic cloves, minced and crushed
- 4.92 ml barbecue seasoning
- 14.79 ml creole seasoning
- 2.46 ml dry mustard
- 2.46 ml hot paprika
- 2.46 ml red pepper seasoning salt
- 4.92 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 118.29 ml Heinz 57 steak sauce
- 170.09 g can tomato paste
- 14.79 ml hot sauce
- 1.23 ml cayenne
- 113.39 g can mushrooms
- 2 (141.74 g) can sliced black olives
- 14.79 ml cornstarch
- 29.58 ml parmesan cheese
directions
- In heavy roasting pan, brown roast in oil on all sides.
- Add to pan beer, broth, onion, garlic, seasonings, mustard, paprika, seasoned salt, worcestershire, 57 sauce, tomato paste, hot sauce, and cayenne.
- Bring to a simmer and cover for 2 hours.
- Add mushrooms and olives, simmering covered for another hour.
- Remove roast from pan.
- Stir in cornstarch and parmesan, simmering until thickened.
- Slice roast against grain and return to pan.
- Simmer another 10 minutes.
