  1. Grate or chop cabbage finely. Mix all ingredients & blend well. Chill 3 hours or overnight. You may need to add a bit more mayo before serving.

I have made this for years,, and it is delicious. I was told how to do it, and didn't have a recipe. I make it with splenda, and we use it all the time at family gatherings. Its a big hit with my family of 20,(and growing,lol) I recommend it to anyone who likes coleslaw. Play with the ingredients til its as tangy, or as sweet as you wish.

My family raved over this slaw! The celery seed made a lovely addition in the sweet, tangy, & creamy dressing. I added grated carrot for color, used seasoned salt in place of the onion salt, and then omitted the regular salt. Thank you for sharing this keeper of a recipe!
