  1. DH wanted to help me out by cooking dinner tonight. I was delighted to find your recipe--it looked yummy and, even better, was simple and quick to make (a must have for tonight's meal). He combined bacon grease with the oil to saute the onions (1 med., chopped) then cooked the steaks separate (didn't bother to cut them into cubes). It was delcious and our entire family loved it. Forgot to make rice / pasta side, so served with microwaved baked potato. Gravy was great, steak was great, onions were great....dinner was great...thank you!
