The classic & easy corned beef. You WILL be impressed.....Only 6 ingredients! IT requires 4 hours to cook. Enjoy!
- 4 -6 lbs corned beef brisket
- 2 tablespoons pickling spices
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 stalk celery & leaves, sliced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1⁄4 cup water
Directions See How It's Made
- Line shallow pan with heavy foil.
- Put corned beef in center of foil & pour water over top.
- Sprinkle with spices & arrange vegetables over & around meat.
- Seal meat, bringing foil ends up so juice cannot run out.
- Bake at 300F for 4 hours.
- LEt cool & slice thinly.
