Corn Casserole

This can be a main dish or a side dish--my family has used it as both. I've used a 2 quart casserole dish and a 9x13 pan--the 9x13 pan tends to cook faster.

Made this to go with our Christmas eve ham. I usually go with a traditional family recipe for corn pudding but was feeling adventurous this year.

i made this just as directed and it was delicious. I am saving this to make again. YUM!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 (16 ounce) can cream-style corn
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 12 cup soft margarine
  • 1 (8 ounce) box cornbread mix
  • 2 -3 tablespoons finely chopped onions

Directions

  1. Combine corn, egg, sour cream, margarine, and cornbread mix in bowl--mix well. Pour into 2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes or until set and golden brown.
