  1. Scald coffee with milk.
  2. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and well beaten eggs.
  3. Strain milk; add gradually to sugar mixture.
  4. Add butter; cook in a double boiler until thick and creamy, stirring constantly.
  5. Add vanilla and cool.

Dee, I used this cream filling to fill some Christmas chocolates and wow!!! It was delicious and was one of our two favourite fillings. We loved it and I will be using this filling every year. Thanks for posting!
