  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until blended.
  2. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. Combine the flour, oats and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
  5. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  7. Remove to wire racks to cool.
