Woooohooo - this is the recipe I was looking for, but it's not what you think! Ever since moving to KY, I could not find my chocolate mint syrup for my morning coffee. Then, I thought *ding* look on Zaar! All I did to this recipe is omit the salt and add 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract and *voila*. What used to cost $5.00 for a 24oz bottle (on sale!) and that I couldn't find anymore anyway, I can now make at home!! Thanks SO much for posting this recipe, Chelle!

This is just excellent. You can make as little or as much as you want or need by adjusting the recipe. Saves a lot of $$$ too. I'll have a small jar in the fridge from now on. Thanks Chelle N
