  • Mix dry ingredients together.
  • Set aside.
  • Cream together: shortening, and sugar.
  • Add eggs, beat well.
  • Add potatoes and vanilla.
  • Blend well.
  • Stir in dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
  • Stir in nuts.
  • Pour into greased/sprayed 9x13 pan.
  • Bake 350F for 40-45 minutes or test with toothpick for doneness.
