This Chili is such a comfort food for my family, yet I make it with tons of veggies so its also a comfort to serve.

  1. Cut and remove seeds from jalapeno peppers and chop onions and sweet peppers.Chop zucchini. Saute all in the olive oil in a large kettle medium to low heat until tender crisp.
  2. In a separate frying pan mix the ground turkey and beef together and cook until brown. Mix into the veggie mixture.
  3. Peel and coarsely chop tomatoes and add.
  4. Rinse kidney beans and add.
  5. Mix in the rest of the ingredients.
  6. Bring to boil while stirring then reduce to simmer and let cook down 45 mins to an hour over low heat stirring occasionally.
