  • Place parmesan, kale, spinach, walnuts, garlic scapes and olive oil in food processor - process til smooth.
  • Cook whole wheat pasta in boiling water.
  • Drain- reserving 1/4 c pasta water.
  • Place chicken in pan pasta was cooked in - allow to warm slightly.
  • Mix pasta, pasta water and 1/2 pesto in with chicken.
  • Enjoy!
  • Note - garlic scapes are the curly tops garlic plants sprout early spring. Use minced garlic to taste if not available.
