  • Mix butter and cheese. Blend well. Add flour, salt and paprika. Mix til it forms a ball. Add cereal and almonds. Make 1/2 inch balls. Space 2 inches apart on UNGREASED cookie sheet. Flatten with fork Bake 350F 15mins.

  1. This was different. I used finely shredded extra sharp cheddar and 1/8 teaspoon salt. The dough was really easy to work with. I wasn't sure what these would be like before I started, but they look like cookies and taste kind of like cheese nips. The textures kind of cookie-like, but with a little Triscuit like feel from the corn flake crumbs. I wasn't really sure about them when I tried the first one, but they grew on me really quickly and DH thought they went well with Recipe #146022. I probably could have halved the recipe as I got 43 wafers out of this, but the extras seem to be keeping fine so far in an airtight container on the counter. Will make these again. Thanks for sharing.
