This was different. I used finely shredded extra sharp cheddar and 1/8 teaspoon salt. The dough was really easy to work with. I wasn't sure what these would be like before I started, but they look like cookies and taste kind of like cheese nips. The textures kind of cookie-like, but with a little Triscuit like feel from the corn flake crumbs. I wasn't really sure about them when I tried the first one, but they grew on me really quickly and DH thought they went well with Recipe #146022. I probably could have halved the recipe as I got 43 wafers out of this, but the extras seem to be keeping fine so far in an airtight container on the counter. Will make these again. Thanks for sharing.
