Easy and great breakfast
- 1 1⁄2 cups chai tea
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 2⁄3 cup oat bran
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- Bring the tea and water to a boil. Add in the oat bran, whisking as you go.
- Turn down the heat to a simmer and add in extra spices. It should cook up fairly quickly, about 2 minutes or so.
- Top with yogurt, a drizzle of honey and toasted walnuts to make things extra special.
I love this and used my own homemade chai mix. It's great with frozen blueberries and honey. This is everyday breakfast!
In a word - amazing. GREAT cool weather breakfast, the chai giving it a unique and complex flavor. After my first bowl, I immediately made another (yes, that good!) I forgot the pinch of cloves, but I'll be sure to use it next time. Thanks!
