  1. I made a half recipe and cooked in an 8x8 pan and it took 40 minutes to cook at 170C fan forced and 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed the lot. Thank you Nif for a great side.

  2. Made this as one of several vegetable sides when my vegetarian son & DIL were over & it was a big hit with all! loved this particular onion & potato combo! The only thing I did differently was to leave the potato skins on! Thanks for sharing a great keeper of a recipe! [Made & reviewed in Went to the Market tag]

  3. Excellent!!! Loved these potatoes, as I am an onion lover and potato lover and the two of them together was wonderful. I served them with a marinaded flat iron steak and salad. Will definitely make this again. Thanks Nif for a wonderful new potato dish and was made for Potluck Tag!!!

  4. This is so easy and SO tasty! Love the sweetness of the onions with the bite of the Gruyere. Cooking time was right on. The only mistake I made was cutting the recipe in half. Now no leftovers :( Made for Spring 2009 PAC.

  5. The easiest potato dish with the best flavor! I did add more cheese and used sweet onions. Do work slowly when caramelizing the onions because the add great flavor to the potatoes. Thank you Nif for sharing this yummy recipe with us. Made and reviewed for Susie's World Tour 2019 - Benelux.

I love great food and I particularly like trying cuisines new to me! Although I don't prepare as much food as I used to, creating in my kitchen is still one of my favourite things to do. Enjoy!
