  1. Combine chicken, syrup, basil, dijon and zest. Cover. Chill 24 hours.
  2. Drain chicken, reserving marinade.
  3. Place marinade ina saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce for 5 minutes; set aside.
  4. Heat broiler.
  5. Place chicken on a sprayed broiler rack. Brush with marinade.
  6. Broil 4 minutes, turning once.
  7. Turn oven down to 400°.
  8. Place chicken in oven. Bake 20 more minutes, basting often with marinade.
