I had every intention of reporting back to this recipe with some awesome photos, but unfortunately I cannot. I can't even say that I tasted it. Well, it is just vanilla pudding, right? I am giving this 5 stars, just for the sheer fact of making a simple and fun treat (or what could have been). I prepared the recipe this Easter morning (before anyone was to arrive) by making the pudding and dividing it into 4 individual bowls and putting them in the fridge, and combining the jelly beans, licorice whips and cookies in a large bowl that was placed on the buffet table. I ended up having to run out to the store for last minute items (okay... a "beer run" ). I returned home to find hubby, his daughter, her BF and our grandson all plunked in front of the television...with "empty pudding bowls" in front of each of them! UGH! They were meant for the grand-kids to make after our dinner. None of them even attempted to decorate one. (My fault, I should have told hubby about my plans). Sadly, our other two grand-kids stopped by briefly (with mommy and daddy, of course) on their way somewhere else. They already knew what the fun things Nana Rosie had planned for them! Talk about heart-break when the 6 yr old and 2 yr old saw that "their" pudding bowls had been devoured by 3 adults and a baby! I have saved this in my files for next year. Thank you for posting this clever idea. Made (sort-of) for "Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup" tag game - Spring 2013

WAY too CUTE!!!!!!!!!!Cannot WAIT til tomorrow to see my nieces and nephews faces light up when they see these!!!! *Won't assemble them completely til tomorrow, though!!! **The coloring from the jelly beans runs into the pudding! They'll be EASY to finish tomorrow, though!!! I'm doing them in mini graham cracker crusts and making them with banana pudding instead of vanilla, and found already pink strawberry frosting!! They will LOVE THESE!!! :)
