- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares, 4 envelopes (I use choco-bake)
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup shifted enriched flour
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- frosting
- 3 - 3 1⁄4 cups shifted powdered sugar
- 1⁄3 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 2 (1 ounce) packets Choco-bake
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
directions
- Melt chocolate (if using choco-bake you don't have to melt it).
- Throughly cream butter and sugar add egg and beat well.
- Blend in melted chocolate, vanilla, and flour.
- Mis nuts into batter.
- Pour batter into greased 9x13 pan.
- Bake at 325 for 35 minute.

Frosting:
- Beat sugar, milk, butter, choco-bake, vanilla, and salt in small mixing bowl until smooth and creamy. Makes 1 3/4 cups.
- Cool brownies and then spread frosting on sprinkle with nuts.
