What a wonderful bread! It was so soft and delicious! Perfect for breakfast or a brunch, or just anytime that you want something sweet and filling! I accidently made enough for a two pound loaf, having only a 1.5 lb loaf machine! By the time I got around to looking at it it was spilling over the top of my machine! But I just took it out and seperated it into 4 small loaves and put each into a little bread loaf pan and baked it at 375 for 20-25 minutes. It turned out just perfect! Thanks!

I had prolbems with this recipe and am very sorry to give it such a low rating. I do have a 2 pound capacity machine, however even in my machine, the same thing that happened to the other reveiwer happened to me - that is, the dough started rising up too high, pressing against the glass top and oozing over the sides. I had to remove some of the dough, then continued baking. The finished product had a very spongy, raw top, which I removed. However, the bottom half of the bread was quite tasty. I suspect the high amount of yeast and sugar is the reason the bread rose so high. I would like to try this again with less yeast to see if I have a better result. I am sorry, this really didn't work out for my machine despite careful measuring.
