Breakfast Apple Pie

"This is a pie served at the Old Granite Inn in Rockland, Maine. I haven't tried it yet, but as soon as I found it on another site I knew I had to share it. Maple syrup and cornflakes make for an interesting twist on a familiar favorite."

  1. This was very delicious! I added 1/4 cup rolled oats to the topping just to enhance its perfection. I will use this topping for other pie recipes. My cornflakes ended up being mushy so I don't think i'll add them in next time. I may just try this mixed with some rhubarb next time :)
