Directions

  1. Beat egg whites till stuff - add and beat egg yolks. Add sugar, water, and sifted flour with baking powder. Add vinegar.
  2. Bake in deep cake pan.
  3. Split and fill with cream (custard) filling. Whipped cream may be added on top or else sugar may be sprinkled over it.
  4. Cream filling: Moisten with little water.
  5. Beat one egg and add to mixture. Add cup hot milk. Cook in double boiler. Flavor with lemon.
