This was one of my favourite puddings as a child, hadn't made it in years until I spotted it on 'zaar a week or so ago. Still tastes good. Had a tin of sliced peaches and put them in 4 ramekin dishes then put the blancmange over top. Thanks for posting. =)

Directions

  1. Scald 2c of milk in a double boiler.
  2. Combine other ingredients (1/2 c milk, cornstarch, sugar, salt) except vanilla, stir til smooth, and add to scalded milk.
  3. Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, til thickened and smooth.
  4. Cover and cook 10 min, add vanilla, and put into custard cups.
  5. Yield: 4-5 servings.
