  • Mix spices in a bowl. Heat a large skillet, preferably cast iron, on high heat for 10 minutes or until smoking hot. Lay shrimp out on a baking sheet and coat evenly with about 2 teaspoons of corn oil. Heavily season shrimp on both sides with the spice mixture.
  • Place shrimp in the heated skillet and cook over high heat for 30 to 45 seconds on each side until cooked through.
