I haven't made it yet, but no recipe is sacred from the Grand master elite recipe tweaker. But when I do, I will remove the gumbo file' powder, and the basil. With those 2 spices in there, it screams creole flavor. Correct me if I'm wrong, but blackened seasoning to me is more of a Cajun flavor. Now in the spirit of Creole flavor, I would add a few bay leaves to this recipe with the file' and the basil, and put a couple of TBS in the gumbo and I betcha it will be the best and really close to the flavor of Old Bay Seafood Seasoning. Thanks for posting your recipe.
