  1. This was awesome!!! I thought it would taste too bland with such few ingredients but WOW! This has a great flavor. I too removed the bean liquid and thought the end result consistency was perfect. Thank you for sharing!

  2. This was tasty and very easy, but way too runny when I included the bean juice in the mix as specified in the recipe. I had a soupy mix which I heated in a small pan, then thickened with 1 T of quick grits. Next time I will make with much less juice. Served to guests who liked it very much.

  3. Very good and easy. I like bean dips because they are high in fiber and low in calories. I drained and rinsed the beans. I think it would have been too runny if I hadn't. Only used one clove of garlic and just enough salt to taste. Only problem was--there wasn't enough. Will double the recipe next time.

  4. mmMMmm, this was really tasty even without the salsa. Friends spiced it up but I kept it mild. Great both ways so I'm told. Very easy to make although I did soak (eliminates enzyme inhibitors) and cook the beans myself. Thanks for posting it. GladyRuth
