Bill's Peanut (Or Any Other Nut) Brittle

"This is the same stuff Bill sells at his store, Jay Design. Have the butter, salt and baking soda ready before starting to cook."

• Ingredients: 7

ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 3⁄4 cup light corn syrup
• 2 tablespoons water
• 2 teaspoons butter
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 cups raw nuts (unroasted)

directions

1. Boil sugar, corn syrup and water mixture until it spins a thread.
2. Add 2 cups of raw nuts and cook until a delicate brown color.
3. Remove from heat and add the butter, salt and baking soda. Stir mixture thoroughly and quickly.
4. Spread out on a buttered cookie pan.
