This caramel popcorn is so easy to make, and needs to be made a little in advance, but well worth it! It's by far the best tasting caramel popcorn I have ever tasted!

  1. Mix margarine, sugar, syrup, and salt in pot. Bring to boil on medium heat, and boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, and add baking soda. Stir until foamy throughout.
  2. Pour over popcorn, and mix well.
  3. Spread evenly on cookie sheet, and bake at slow 200°F oven for 1 hour. This last baking step ensures crispy popcorn. Enjoy!
