Beef Chowder

"From my church cookbook "Heavenly Concoctions", FUMC Alvarado. This is a lot like Taco Soup, only not as spicy and not as thick. If you can not find Fiesta Soup you can use a small can of beef consome soup and a can of chili with beans."

ingredients

• 680.38 g ground beef
• 1 onion, medium chopped
• 1 bell pepper, chopped
• 297.66 g can beef consomme soup or 297.66 g can fiesta chili beef soup
• 297.66 g can water
• 297.66 g can cheddar cheese soup
• 297.66 g can water
• 425.24 g can pinto beans
• 425.24 g can whole kernel corn, drained

directions

1. Brown together ground meat, onion and bell pepper. Drain off excess liquid.
2. Then add remaining ingredients and stir well.
3. Simmer one hour - stirring occasionally to prevent sticking or scorching.
4. Good with corn bread on a winter night.
