- 453.59 g ground beef
- 118.29 ml green onion, sliced long ways
- 4.92 ml garlic, minced
- 156.14 ml water chestnut, chopped (optional)
- 59.14 ml onion, chopped
- 118.29 ml red bell pepper, chopped
- 59.14 ml stout beer
- 29.58 ml hoisin sauce
- 14.79 ml soy sauce
- 29.58 ml cilantro, fresh chopped
- 1 leaf lettuce, cleaned and separated
directions
- Cook ground beef in medium skillet over medium high heat. Drain fat.
- Add garlic, chestnuts, peppers, stout, hoisin and soy. Cook, stirring untill bell pepper is crisp-tender and most liquid has evaporated.
- Stir in cilantro.
- Spoon onto lettuce leaf and wrap with green onion.
- If it does not tie easily, dip the green onion in boiling water for a moment to wilt and soften it.
