This recipe resulted from a search for healthier (and tastier) snacks for my daycare children and my own child. They taste like banana nut bread but without any nuts!

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In your mixer (or with a hand mixer) combine butter, eggs and mashed bananas on low to medium speed.
  3. Add pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, vanilla and baking soda.
  4. Add white and brown sugars.
  5. Add cranberries and raisins.
  6. Gradually blend in raisin bran and flour (do not over mix flour as this can lead to a tougher cookie).
  7. Drop by teaspoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Remove to cooling rack immediately.
