I have been trying to reduce the packaged ingredients we use in our kitchen. This baking mix substitutes well for Bisquick in recipes that require it.
- 10 cups all-purpose flour (not self-rising or wheat)
- 1⁄3 cup baking powder
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups shortening
- Combine all dry ingredients, then add shortening and blend until well combined. Will keep unrefrigerated for 6 months in airtight container.
