Baked Cheese and Stuffing Casserole

• Serves: 8

ingredients

• 2 cups water
• 1 tablespoon margarine
• 1 (6 ounce) package of savory herb seasoned stuffing mix
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 3⁄4 cup cheddar cheese, grated and divided

directions

1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Bring water and margarine to a boil. Stir in stuffing mix; cover. Remove from heat and let stand 5min.
3. Stir egg and 1/2c of the cheese into stuffing mixture until blended.
4. Spoon into a greased 9-inch pie plate.
5. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
6. Bake 20min or until cheese on top is melted.

I have been making this stuffing for Thanksgiving for about 10 years now, and it is the only stuffing recipe I use for Thanksgiving! Thank you so much for posting this moist, cheesy recipe!
