  • Heat oven to 400°F Trim beans. In a jelly-roll pan, toss beans with oil, salt and oregano until evenly coated. Roast 20 minutes, turning beans once or twice for even browning.

  1. easy, delicious, can't wait to make this one again. i used wax beans. i only had about 2 cups of beans and they were definitely finished in 20 minutes.
     
  2. Very nice, simple, easy, tasty way to change up how you serve beans. As with most reviews, here's a couple of notes... I used all wax beans because that's what we got at the Farmers' Market. I used marjoram instead of oregano because that's what was in the cabinet. It turned out great. Biggest word of caution: it took about 45 minutes at 400 deg. to get them cooked to the ideal point, so you may want to plan on some extra time or give the fresh beans a quick blanch first.
