ingredients
- 1 lb green beans
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic salt
directions
- Snap end off the beans.
- Add beans to boiling water.
- Cook ONLY 5 minutes.
- Drain and run under cold water.
- In a skillet, melt butter and saute beans for 3 minutes.
- Add cheese, pepper and garlic salt and toss.
- Serve immediately.

Loved these but did change up the cooking method. I also used thin frozen green beans. I cooked them in the microwave for seven minutes then I sauted then in the butter and followed the rest of the recipe. I did use garlic powder instead of garlic salt as I don't buy garlic salt. We all really enjoyed these.

A lovely side, delicious! loved the combination of parmesan, garlic salt and pepper. I didn't have a lot of green beans so I added some thinly sliced carrots to the mix, worked out very nicely and instead of boiling first I steamed the veggies before sauteeing them. Thanks for posting , I will make these again and often!
