This recipe is the speciality of the Dvin Hotel, Yerevan, Armenia and was served to me at a dinner party.

Directions

  1. Sauté onion & garlic in olive oil until soft.
  2. Add kasha & stir well.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients except sour cream.
  4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer, cover, & cook until liquid is absorbed.
  5. Top each serving with a generous dollop of sour cream.
