ingredients
- 1419.54 ml all-purpose flour
- 19.71 ml baking soda
- 9.85 ml baking powder
- 4.92 ml salt
- 354.88 ml dates, chopped
- 946.36 ml walnuts, chopped
- 473.18 ml sugar
- 236.59 ml white grape juice
- 4.92 ml clove
- 4.92 ml nutmeg
- 4.92 ml cinnamon
- 1814.36 g candied fruit
- 473.18 ml raisins
- 236.59 ml butter
- 4 eggs
- 709.77 ml applesauce
directions
- Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and spices.
- Measure out fruit and nuts, dates and raisins in a very large bowl.
- Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs and beat well.
- Alternately add dry ingredients and grape juice to creamed mixture, beating well after each addition.
- Mix into fruit, nuts and applesauce.
- Pour into prepared pans weighing about 2 lb. each.
- Bake at 275F about 2 hours, or until pick comes out clean.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
