"This is an *AMAZING* recipe. Capable of being formal, good for the family, and kids love it. Serves well both hot and cold. Yes, I know the title sounds odd, but it is actually a great combination.   • Saute the onions with the olive oil in a large pot until the onions are golden.
  • Add the apples, the parsnips, the carrots, the (optional) soup mix, the nutmeg, and the water.
  • Cook on medium heat for 1 (one) hour, or until the carrots are soft.
  • When done cooking, add the juice from the lemons, then take a hand-held grinder (or you can use a blender) and blend all the soup until it is smooth and there are no lumps of anything in it.
  • Your done! The soup can be served hot or cold.
