Apple Cake

"This is a wonderful "old fashioned" cake very moist and tasty. When I tasted this cake I had to have the recipe."

• Yields: 1 cake

ingredients

• 236.59 ml oil
• 3 eggs
• 414.03 ml sugar
• 9.85 ml vanilla
• 473.18 ml flour
• 4.92 ml baking soda
• 4.92 ml salt
• 9.85 ml cinnamon
• 473.18 ml peeled and diced apples
• 236.59 ml chopped nuts

directions

1. Mix the oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla.
2. Add the flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
3. This will be a very stiff batter.
4. Stir in the apples and nuts.
5. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.
6. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour.

Very nice way to use up the apples on our tree...simple and tastey.

Thanks Karen. Yummy cake. Will definitely make it again. I peeled the apples first and sprinkled them with the cinnamon to keep them from turning brown while I was getting all the other ingredients together.
