2 loafs
ingredients
- 157.80 ml brown sugar
- 2.46 ml cinnamon
- 473.18 ml Granny Smith apples or 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/4 inch pieces
- 236.59 ml apple's sugar juice (see step one)
- 1064.65 ml flour
- 7.39 ml yeast
- 4.92 ml salt
- 44.37 ml butter
- 1 egg white
- 1 egg white
directions
- Place apples pieces into a mixing bowl and stir in cinnamon and brown sugar; let rest together overnight - this will create your apple/sugar juice.
- Separate the apples from the sugary juice and place them in the bread machine, along with your dry ingredients, and butter.
- Measure out one cup of the sugar juice, and separate your egg white. Add liquids and start the machine, manual or dough cycle. You want the dough to create a ball.
- When dough cycle has finished (my machine takes 2 hours and 11 minutes for the Manual cycle), divide dough into halves. Place each half into a well greased and floured 9 inch loaf pan (I lined my non-stick loaf pan with parchment paper, rather than grease & flour).
- Bake at 350F for 50 minutes.
