This is my favorite way to make oatmeal. I'm sure you could vary the fruit to get different versions to try.
- Combine cider, oats and blueberries in a microwave safe bowl. Cook on high 1 minute and 30 seconds. Let sit for a minute or two to thicken.
The apple and blueberry flavors are great together. Since I only use regular oats, not instant, I microwaved it three minutes. Thanks for sharing your favorite oatmeal.
This was very good.....it was a bit sweet for me, so I may mix the apple cider with water next time to reduce the sweetness. Loved the blueberries in this. I don't think most people would have a problem with the sweetness....I've been on a diet, so have been limiting sweets. So this was quite a surprise to my taste buds!!!
Oh yum, this was good! I used sparkling apple cider and 1/3 cup of blueberries. You definitely don't need to add sugar to it. The apple cider gives the oatmeal a great flavor.
